where's my camera?
1:05:00 PM

so yesterday was superb! first stop was jurong point, then on to that free shuttle bus which goes to IMM and then the next shuttle bus to jurong east mrt station. (we just passed through IMM, didn't walk around in there.) and then the next stop. took a bus but got lost so we found an alternative. walk through hotpark to get to henderson wave. yes, how pathetic! but but but OMG i love hotpark. and i am oh-so-loving the scenery. though we didn't reach herderson wave, i've had some fun times. so whatever you bloody weather and damn you rain, your plan failed. oh yes, pictures are oh-so-beautiful. feast your eyes people.

so this is the view i fell in love with. and oh the feeling being on top that bridge! feels so magical! (click to view bigger.)
so together with haikal,and haniffa,
including diyanah,we cam-whore'd first while waiting for that one very late member.
we couldn't wait, scenery was way too nice.
(don't you think so???)
and when all's present, we embarked on that 9km walk.
but oh no, we just wanted to get to henderson wave, approximately 2.4km away from the start point. and all the way walking, i was just oh-so-amused. people were there because they were just taking a stroll or jogging or any other recreational activities, but as for us dum-dums, we just didn't know how to get to henderson wave. so yeah, call us nerds, whattheheck. i was always at the back, well most of the time because i wanted to enjoy the view. and of course, taking all pictures that i could.

and then suddenly, there was this monkey. i was excited at first, but then i saw how vicious it was. so i was scared and i realised i was at the back so i shouted out to fazari who was in front of me then, to stay put there. i can't believe he could just stand in front of the monkey like it was nothing! oh-my-sheesh-kebabs!

and while all the way, we saw that the clouds were getting darker but we just didn't care. haha! and when it started pouring, we started running, duhh! i took out my umbrella, lucky thing i brought it! and when we reached the nearest shelter where we stayed for about 45mins maybe, it was so frustrating! first, i still wanted to walk. second, the shelter had holes and the water was coming in! and and and we were getting wet because the wind was blowing the rain inwards! what bad luck! so much for enjoying nature. we should have stayed at vivocity, but oh whatever!and so we couldn't possibly just wait til the rain died. i have a frigging curfew for god's sake! i looked around for the direction to henderson wave. and then i saw this one sign which says that it's just 0.3km away. but here's the problem. the sign was in the shape of a triangle. knowing a triangle, it can point to 3 sides, right? so we have 3 routes to choose, and above all, it's raining! how are we supposed to know? seriously, really, you wouldn't know where the triangle was pointing to either, if you've seen that stupid sign. so then since diyanah and haniffa was already wet, and they didn't mind buying new clothes since that was their original intention, we walked in the rain. but not on that bridge, we walked on the Earth trail.

felt like walking through the forest! the others could just walk oh-so-fast, and wasn't bothered about anything, it seems. maybe perhaps, i was the only one with an umbrella, so that's why i could take my time. but hey i was seriously in pain, because as we were walking down the slopes, my feet felt like they were going to have cramps. and the others were just so far ahead, perhaps not bothered about anything else (every man's an island by themselves, right?), and i couldn't be bothered to stop or call out to them or deal with the pain in any way, so we just walked on till we found the bus stop at the foot of the hill. by then, i just wanted to go home. (no this is not the point. i don't care anymore.)

then when the bus came, i just went up and the rest followed although they didn't know where to go, i think. and i didn't want to go home either actually, so i decided that maybe i could stay awhile more for dinner with the people. i was oh-so-hungry. we all were okay! after eating at the foodcourt at bukit merah inter, we all went our own ways. haikal took 5 all the way home because he had no more money to take the mrt like the rest of us. i wanted to accompany him, but if i do, that'll mean i've to spend more than 1hr on the bus AND also, my butt will probably be oh-so-flat when i get off.

then it was down to 4 of us to the mrt station. then three headed to pasir ris. and finally, i'm going home.
oh yes, what an adventure.
thanks for the day people.

p.s. i would oh-so-love to walk the entire bridge, if you want. so are you coming too?
